If you’re looking for my usual brand of mellow, laid-back beats then this probably isn’t for you…

Last week I took part in the first WORKINONIT beat battle at Manchester’s Hip Hop Chip Shop. I mostly entered to test myself; a quick listen will make it abundantly clear that this isn’t the kind of music that’s in my normal comfort zone. I didn’t image I’d make it far, never mind the finals. Somehow, I walked away with the win.

To celebrate, here’s a selection of beats prepared for the WORKINONIT battle as a free download. Neck braces are recommended, but not provided with this release.
